Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be launching their flagship smartphone the Honor 9 on June 12. The device had already found in various listings online, which hints the smartphone will sport a dual rear-camera setup along with glass back like Galaxy S8.
The device which already been certified by Chinese TENAA authority will come with a 5.15 inch Full-HD Display powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 SoC coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The rear camera will sport 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensor, 8MP front camera. Probably the back glass will be a 3D curved glass. It will come with a 3100mAh battery out-of the box with dual sim and will run on Android 7.0 with the EMUI 5.1 on top. It also features a fingerprint sensor on its front side.
The device launch is scheduled for June 12 at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center declared on Honor’s official Weibo page.
