Xiaomi has launched their latest set of Redmi smartphone with mindblowing specifications for the price namely, Xiaomi Redmi 4. It was already introduced in China as Redmi 4X, now the company has brought it to India as the successor of last year’s Redmi 3S.
Redmi 4 packs a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 720p resolution, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes in three different variants including 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version with expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. The Xiaomi Redmi 4 runs on MIUI 8 upon Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The budget smartphone even comes with Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor.
Talking about optics, Redmi 4 has 13 Megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF, LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The display has 450nit brightness, 1000: 1 contrast ratio and 72% NTSC color gamut. Connectivity options includes Dual Sim 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. It sports a 4100mAh battery, measures 139.2×69.6.x8.6mm, and weighs 150 grams.
The Redmi 4 is sold in 3 different variants including a 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant priced at Rs. 6,999, the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant priced at Rs. 8,999, and the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 10,999. Redmi 4 smartphones will goes on sale from May 23 at 12 pm IST via Amazon India and Mi.com.
