Huawei on Monday announced their new smartphone Huawei Y3 (2017). The new device from the Huawei is a 2017 variant of the previously launched Huawei Y3. Unlike other companies, Huawei didn’t improve the device but changed the model name only. So there are no substantial improvements from the last year’s model.
The new Huawei Y3 (2017) comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and 1GB of RAM. The device runs on a 1.7GHz quad-core MT6737M chipset, which is not a powerful one. Along with that, the company announced another variant of the Y3 which comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core MT6580M chipset. It also features a 1GB of RAM. It has an 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel selfie camera.
The Huawei Y3 (2017) offers an 8GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone supports 4G LTE network and Bluetooth 4.0. It measures 145.1×73.7×9.45mm and weighs between 170 and 180 grams. It has a 2200mAh battery. There is no information about the pricing and availability of the device. However, it comes in Gold, Pink, Blue, White, and Gray colors.
