Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had launched their mid-ranger smartphone Honor 6X a few months ago with Android Marshmallow on-board. The smartphone has launched in India in January, and they have promised the update to Nougat.
Now, the Honor 6X users are getting the official OTA update to the Android Nougat 7.0 widely. The new update brings the latest version of Huawei’s Interface EMUI 5.0 to the device along with the Nougat. The update mainly provides an interface improvement. From the update, we have noticed that the UI gets more transition animations, better camera UI, etc. It has also now an App Drawer like typical Android Interfaces, with improved notification bar. The fingerprint scanner gestures are still the same. There is a new blue-light filter mode named “Eye Comfort”.
The update has rolled out globally and hits almost every device. You can check the availability from Settings > Updater > Check for updates. Let us know if you have found something more, via the comment box.
