Xiaomi is working on the Mi 5s, the successor of Mi5 and Mi4s, launched a couple of months ago. The device was rumored to have greater specifications among flagship devices, and now a new leak in the form of screenshots brings a great reveal about the upcoming Chinese beast which is capable to be an unbeatable rival for OnePlus 3 and Galaxy Note 7.
From the leaked screenshot, the Xiaomi Mi 5s features a 5.15 inch display with 3D/Force sensitive touch feature and probably 2K resolution. The smartphone is to be powered with the all new Snapdragon 821, successor of Qualcomm’s flagship powerhouse Snapdragon 820, which is coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The mi 5s boasts 6GB of RAM, paired with 256 UFS 2.0 native storage. There could be also basic variants with 3GB and 4GB RAM respectively.
Xiaomi Mi 5s sports a 16MP main camera with 4-Axis OIS, PDAF and f/1.8 aperture. The camera covering is made of sapphire glass. It supports 4K range video shooting, and it has an exposure value of 32.
Connectivity side, the Xiaomi Mi 5s has 4G+ for faster LTE Network, along with the other normal connectivity features like W-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, IR Blaster, Gyroscope, Barometer, Light sensor, Compass etc and could have a USB Type-C port. The device weighs 147g, with the thickness 7.25mm and the rest dimensions of 144.55mm x 69.2mm. The 3490 mAh battery will be capable of juicing up with the Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0. The device may launch within a few months, and would be priced around 400 EUR.
