Xiaomi Mi A2, the Chinese giant’s renamed variant of Mi 6X for the global market is expected to launch soon. We’ve been witnessing several leaks and rumors about the upcoming model for the past few weeks. However, Xiaomi is already gearing up for the global launch of Mi A2. Today, a Switzerland based e-commerce website named Digitec has listed the Mi A2 with product images and full specifications.
According to the listing, the smartphone features the similar design of previously launched Mi 6X and it is available in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants. The listing reveals the pricing of the device as well. The listing suggests that the 32GB storage variant costs CHF 289 (roughly Rs. 19,800), the 64GB model shows a price tag of CHF 329 (around Rs. 22,500), and the 128GB internal storage variant comes in at CHF 369 (around Rs. 25,200).
We can’t completely rely on this listing for the price. However, all other specifications are similar to the previous leaks and rumors. Especially, there is nothing surprising as it is the same Mi 6X smartphone with a new name. The Swiz-website suggests that the smartphone will run on Android One platform – following the predecessor Mi A1. All other specifications include 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage.
The smartphone features a vertically aligned dual camera set up, which is similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone. The device features a 12-megapixel sensor on the rear side and a 20-megapixel sensor for the selfies. It comes with a 3010mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C.
