As like every year, Xiaomi is reportedly working on their next flagship smartphone in Mi lineup. The smartphone coming as the successor to the Xiaomi Mi6 flagship launched last year, embedded with the top-tier hardware specs onboard. The Xiaomi Mi 7 will hit the floor at this MWC 2018, which just a week away from us. The smartphone has been leaked in many renders and brochures earlier. Here are a new lot packs the supposed renderings of the Xiaomi Mi 7.
At a glance, the Xiaomi Mi 7 render looks stunning with its 18:9 aspect ratio display, having very lesser bezels on the sides too. The smartphone seems to have a curved edge display, just like Samsung Galaxy S8/S9. The renders clearly show off the edge curves which are quite as simpler as the Galaxy S9 leaks. Surprisingly, the Chinese manufacturer seems to swim along the tide, by mounting the fingerprint scanner under the screen. Ignited by the Vivo, the technology trend is being followed by many Chinese manufacturers including DOOGEE, ZTE, Meizu, etc. As it has been much developed and faster or safer than the traditional fingerprint scanning method, some of the companies have skipped out on the in-screen fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 also would have a fingerprint scanner on the rear body.
The rear camera, as expected, is mounted vertically at the top left corner. In every other aspect, the rear panel looks familiar, just as like the predecessor Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship. The Mi6 was only available in four colours, Black, Blue, White and Ceramic Black, whereas the Xiomi Mi 7 renders shows us the five other colour options including Blue, Black, Red, Purple and Brown, plus the white colour. Not sure if these colour variants would be available at the market level.
According to the earlier leak, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be featured with a 5.6-inch display, powered with Qualcomm’s Octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone is expected to carry 8GB of RAM on its top variant. The internal storage space of the smartphone, according to the report, will be 128GB. The rear camera sensor combo would be sported with 16MP+16MP sensors, possibly 2x Optical Zooming added. The smartphone will carry a 4480mAh humongous amount of battery. The device will be shipped with Android 8.0 based MIUI 9/10 Operating System.
