The second flagship smartphone of the year from LG, the LG V30+ is now set to launch in India on December 13. The company has sent out the media invites for the launch event set its venue at Delhi and it was previously confirmed by the local division of the manufacturer as well.
LG V30+ was unveiled at the IFA 2017 in August with the same design as the V30 but differs with higher internal storage space of 128GB while the V30 has only 64GB of internal memory. The stunning invite of the unveiling event has the tagline “inspire, create, and share” with the LG V30+ along with Save The Date reminder from LG Electronics India Managing Director Ki Wan Kim.
Other than twice the In-built storage space compared to its successor the V30+ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat topped with LG’s UX 6.0+ skin. The single-SIM smartphone has 6-inch QHD+ Gorilla Glass 5 screen with OLED FullVision display with pixel density of 538ppi and resolution 1440×2880 pixels along with HDR10 supportability. V30+ is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
LG V30+ will be sporting a dual camera setup on the rear with a 16-megapixel sensor having 71-degree wide-angle lens of aperture f/1.6 lens and 120-degree wide-angle with an aperture of f/1.9 on a 13-megapixel sensor. For selfies, it flaunts with a 5-megapixel wide-angle of 90-degree lens.
Like the other V-series devices, it also comes with a secondary display which sports a Floating Bar and can be disabled when not needed. The device has a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It is expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 2TB). The other connectivity options of the device include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi with dimensions 151.70 x 75.40 x 7.30mm and weight 158 grams. It is expected to launch at a price approximately of Rs 47,990.
