We are only a couple of weeks away from the official announcement date of the most anticipated Lflagship smartphone, LG V30. The smartphone is expected to be launched by the end of this month. We have already seen several leaked images and features of the devices so far, all of them, claimed to be genuine. Now, the company itself has published a press release which reveals the complete UI and UX features of forthcoming LG V30.
The Korean giant’s UI named LG UX (aka Optimus) version UX 6.0+ will make its debut with the LG V30. As far as we know, the company has removed the secondary ticker display which was there on preceding devices from V series, in favor of adding OLED FullVision display Completly over the top shell. The LG V30 would be the first smartphone to feature an OLED display ( Pure OLED, not AMOLED). From the images, and from the entire note we can clearly see that the earlier leak about floating bar was indeed real. The company has added a semi-transparent floating bar widget to the screen which can be accessed to be used as an alternative to the secondary display which came with LG V10 and V20.
LG also improves the Camera Software capability with a new feature named Graphy which would be a helpful feature for any smartphone paparazzo. It contains many advanced levels of photo shooting, with mania, professional modes, adjustable values and standard metadata presets, etc. A Quick Video Editor to is added to the UX which would be enough to edit smaller videos quickly. The LG has also utilized the advantage of OLED display in implementing AOD (Always-On-Display) feature. It is possible to add any texts, widgets, floating bars and even captured images to the AOD screen.
Regarding security, LG has also introduced an advanced version of face recognition and voice recognition, either would work even while the display is off, by using Qualcomm Aqstic voice UI technology.
