Finally, T-Mobile has approved the Android Nougat update for the LG V10 devices. So starting today, you can receive the Android 7.0 nougat update on your LG V10 smartphones under T-Mobile. To recall, LG started the rollout process in May but the carrier delayed the OTA. Don’t worry, now you can download it officially.
The update contains the new software version as well as Android security patches. Also, it contains some bug fixes too. This software update was pushed to your device between July 19. Your phone notifies you of the update. If your phone has not received an OTA message, see update steps below. T-Mobile recommends you to have 50% or higher battery life remaining on your phone, a stable internet connection and enough storage space. It is required for a successful upgrade.
The Nougat update has a version number of ‘H90130b,’ and clocks in at 1.3GB. Besides all the great stuff that Nougat brings, like multi-window support, the update also includes fixes for E911 timers. The update’s support page doesn’t mention what security patch level is included.
Yes, I received the OTA
Thanks LG and T-Mobile
